Privacy Policy

Wildfire Apiary is a small, family-run beekeeping operation. We collect only what we need to respond to your inquiries, process your orders, and keep you informed about availability. We do not sell your information, and we do not use advertising trackers or analytics services.

Information We Collect

Contact Form

When you send a message through our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the contents of your message. We use this solely to respond to you.

NUC and Queen Availability List

When you sign up for availability notifications, we collect your name, email address, your interest in nucleus colonies or mated queens, and any notes you choose to include. We use this to contact you when stock becomes available. You can be removed from this list at any time by emailing hive@wildfireapiary.com.

Orders

When you place an order, we collect your name and email address. Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe and is never stored on our servers. We retain order records to fulfill your purchase and for our own bookkeeping.

Third-Party Services

Stripe

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. When you check out, you are interacting with Stripe's systems. Their privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.

Cloudflare Turnstile

Our contact and signup forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent automated abuse. Turnstile analyzes browser signals to distinguish humans from bots without requiring you to solve a puzzle. Cloudflare's privacy policy is available at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Resend

Transactional emails (order confirmations, contact acknowledgments, availability notifications) are sent via Resend. Your email address is transmitted to Resend for this purpose only.

Cookies

We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. Stripe and Cloudflare Turnstile may set functional cookies necessary for payment processing and bot protection. These are not used to identify or track you across other websites.

Data Retention

Contact messages are retained until no longer needed to address your inquiry. NUC and queen signup records are retained until you request removal or until we determine the list is no longer active. Order records are retained as long as reasonably necessary for business and legal purposes.

Your Rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us at hive@wildfireapiary.com. California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
